After completing the Master Site Plan showing full build-out of the site with future phases for both buildings and parking, Craddock Cunningham provided construction documents for the first structure. The gable-on-hip roof, simple white siding, and residential double hung windows reflect the agrarian setting and nearby farm structures. The simple rectangular plan, which measures fifty feet by eighty feet, provides 2,500 s.f. of worship space, an adjacent kitchen, one classroom, one nursery, restrooms, and some storage areas. Laminated wood arches support the tongue and groove plank ceiling over the worship space. Dormers provide light into the vaulted ceiling area. The slab-on-grade construction, simple shape, and straightforward finishes provided cost savings without compromising design.
