In 2005 Craddock Cunningham Architectural Partners (CCAP) began a new partnership with the Blue Ridge Mountains Council, Boy Scouts of America in Pulaski, Virginia. The committee worked with CCAP during a Charette to develop a new Master Plan by analyzing the original plan, review program information developed during the original 2 year process, and work to guide the committee into creating a united goal through programming and concept development. The committee sought to develop a high adventure base that would encompass the New River Adventure and the Claytor Lake Aquatics’ Base along with training facilities for Scout and public use.
Finally CCAP developed a site plan and schematic building designs which addressed the high adventure base’s needs well into the future.
These concepts will be phased and included in a written summary of programmatic functions, cost estimates, and building designs.
